Exploring Individual Projects and Their Connections: Three Independent Scholars Discuss Storytelling, Norms, and Wellness

Three Independent Scholars majors --  Connor Kreitzman, Deaquan Nichols, and Morgan Rhudy -- discuss their individual projects. Connor Kreitzman talks about his performance on the theme of beauty norms, gender norms, and struggles that people have with their bodies. Deaquan Nichols examines the neurobiology of trauma and how it affects everyday life in Roanoke, Virginia-area school districts. Morgan Rhudy explores wellness, community well-being, and the quotidian. Together they discuss connections between their projects and evaluate their relationship to the concepts of storytelling and norms.
